A man is facing impaired driving charges after someone slammed into a parked truck early Saturday at an apartment building parking in Elliot Lake.
OPP said officers got a call just after 6:30 a.m. from a witness who saw what happened on Mississauga Avenue.
Police spoke to the accused, who was not injured. “A strong odour of alcoholic beverage was detected emanating from his breath and an open can of beer was outside his door. ”
Morgan Davis, 21, from Elliot Lake was charged with impaired driving and failing a breath test.
He will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on Oct. 16.
