A one-year-old child was rushed to McMaster Children’s Hospital with serious injuries after an SUV rolled multiple times at the intersection of County Road 9 and 5th line near Caledonia.
Ontario Provincial Police Const. Mark Foster said the SUV appears to have “ran off the road, struck a ditch, rolled over several times and hit hydro guy-line post.”
It did not appear that other vehicles were involved, said Foster.
The driver was a 19-year-old woman, and her injuries did not appear to be serious, said Foster.
OPP received the call at about 3:20 p.m. yesterday. The vehicle appears to have been driving along County Road 9, crashed, and came to rest at the T-intersection of County Road 9 and 5th line.
