Two people are facing alcohol-related charges after a heated roadside argument in Angus caught the attention of police Wednesday evening.
Nottawasaga OPP Crime Unit members were travelling on Brentwood Road around 7 p.m. Sept. 2 when they saw a man and a woman arguing near a vehicle.
Officers approached the driver, a 31-year-old Barrie woman, and asked her to provide a roadside breath test, which she failed.
She was arrested and charged with having a blood alcohol level above 80 mgs.
Police proceeded to search for the man, a 26-year-old Barrie resident, who was located with help from Canadian Forces Base Borden’s military police.
He has been charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest.
