A 17-year-old Brampton boy has died of injuries he suffered after his bicycle collided with a vehicle at a busy intersection last Tuesday, according to Peel Regional Police.
The identity of the young man has not been released by investigators. No charges have been laid, but the Major Collision Bureau is continuing its investigation into the incident, according to police.
The collision happened at the intersection of Chinguacousy Road and Duffield Road just before 9:30 p.m.
The cyclist was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre in critical condition, but reportedly died some time overnight.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, according to police.
