After mounting a curb and hitting a concrete hydro pole, a vehicle struck a steel guardrail and flipped onto its roof early New Year’s Day (Jan. 1).
The incident happened at about 4:25 a.m. in the area of Dickson and Wellington streets.
A 28-year-old Cambridge man faces a number of charges, including impaired driving and dangerous driving. His passenger, a 28-year-old Cambridge woman, was taken to Cambridge Memorial Hospital, where she was treated and released.
The driver was not hurt.
