A Guelph woman has been charged with impaired driving after police spotted a vehicle being driven without a front tire, causing sparks to fly off the wheel’s rim.
Police stopped the vehicle on Paisley Road near Ridgewood Avenue at around 7:36 p.m. on Sunday night.
Police spoke to the driver, determined she was impaired, and then arrested her. She refused to provide a breath sample to police.
The 51-year-old Guelph woman has been charged with impaired driving and failing to provide a breath sample. She is scheduled to appear in court on October 16.
