Car takes out traffic light near Markham, Sheppard

Toronto police are looking for the driver after a traffic light came down on Thursday morning.

It appears a car crashed into the light at Markham Road and Sheppard Avenue around 5:14 a.m., and the driver fled the scene.

Wires were knocked down as well. However, the light is off the road and there is no impact to traffic, police say.
