Four people were sent to hospital but there were no life-threatening injuries as the result of a crash at Island Road and Hwy 7A Sunday afternoon.
The intersection was blocked for approximately 20 minutes while the emergency crews attended to the injured.
The crash investigation is ongoing, said Ontario Provincial Police. Durham Regional Police were also on the scene of the crash.
