A 42-year-old St. Thomas man is facing drunk driving charges while his 11-year-old daughter was a passenger in the vehicle.

Just before 9 p.m. Sunday, St. Thomas police were at a northside residence on an unrelated matter when a vehicle pulled in the driveway.

An officer suspected the driver had been drinking and a roadside test was administered, which the motorist failed.

He was arrested and a second test administered at the police station where he blew three times over the limit and was charged.

The man was released with a future court date.
