A Hamilton man has been charged after a drunk driver passed out before reaching the pickup window of a McDonald’s.
A Hamilton man has been charged with drunk driving after a driver passed out at the wheel in a fast food pickup lane before making it to the window.
Hamilton police were called to the McDonald’s at 787 Barton St. E. around 4:15 a.m. Saturday and found a man behind the wheel of a vehicle in a drive-thru lane showing signs of impairment.
The man was arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.
