A man has been charged with careless driving after he crashed his dump truck on the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) in Burlington Monday morning (August 29), according to Ontario Provincial Police.

The collision happened around 4 a.m. and closed all Toronto-bound lanes of the QEW just before the Brant Street exit, near the split between the highway and Highway 407.

Just after 7 a.m., police fully reopened the highway.
