Ottawa paramedics reported the 22-year-old truck driver was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.
Emergency crews removed spills of hydraulic fluid, oil, and fuel from the road way, after the dump truck’s box rose inexplicably as the truck was being driven along the highway, hitting the overpass.
