Police received several complaints about a man driving into snowbanks while school let out.
A Teeswater man is facing impaired driving charges after police received numerous complaints from people in Owen Sound.
City police say around 3:15 Friday afternoon they received calls about a pickup driving erratically on the west side of town.
Police say the truck drove through two school zones where students were being let out for the day.
The truck was reportedly seen driving into snow banks and narrowly missing students and oncoming vehicles.
Officers were able to track down the truck at a residence and say the driver blew three times the legal limit.
The 58 year old Teeswater man has been charged with of impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with excess blood alcohol.
He will be in an Owen Sound courtroom on February 23rd.
