Emergency services were called to an home in Auburn Tuesday night, and transported a small boy to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
Emergency services were called to a home around 7:30 p.m., where they assessed a young boy and transported him to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
Provincial police say the child fell out of the rear hatch of a moving van, which was carrying multiple passengers.
The driver, a woman from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh, failed a roadside screening test.
She’s been charged with impaired driving, and impaired driving causing bodily harm.
Her vehicle was impounded, her licence has been suspended for 90 days, and she’s expected to appear in court on July 29.
