On July 24, 2015 at 1:29 a.m. a male was stopped for speeding. While speaking with the driver the officer detected that the driver had been consuming alcohol and then made a demand for a roadside screening device test. He refused to comply with the demand and was arrested for failing to provide a sample into an approved screening device.

Kevin McGarry, 42, of Lindsay, Ont. has been charged with failing to provide a breath sample and speeding. He will appear in the Lindsay, Ontario Court of Justice on August 27, 2015. At the time of his release he was also served with a 90-day drivers license suspension and the vehicle he was operating was impounded for 7 days.
