Police say a Guelph man faces multiple drug and firearm-related charges after a vehicle was pulled over in central Hamilton.
Police discovered a loaded handgun and all sorts of drugs during a traffic stop in central Hamilton Monday.Police said in a release officers stopped a Mercedes in the area of Garfield Avenue and King Street East around 9 p.m. after watching unspecified “traffic violations.”
A man in the car was arrested and searched, revealing “a large number of illicit drugs” like cocaine, purple heroin and crystal meth as well as a loaded Sig Sauer handgun.
A 34-year-old Guelph resident faces multiple firearms and drug charges.
