According to an OPP press release, a 24-year-old man was caught going nearly 60 km/h over the speed limit on Highway 7 on Saturday.
On Saturday, Jan. 23 at 1:39 p.m. an OPP officer conducting traffic enforcement stopped a vehicle travelling at 139 km/h on Highway 7 near Kaladar. The speed limit is 80 km/h.
An Oshawa man, 24, had his vehicle seized for seven days and was issued a seven day driver’s licence suspension.
He was issued a summons and is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Napanee on Feb. 25.
