Man faces drunk driving charge after hitting hydro poles

A 41-year-old Cambridge man faces charges of impaired driving and dangerous driving after he hit two hydro poles on Coronation Boulevard early Saturday, knocking out power to residents in the area.

Staff Sgt. Ian Kerr said the man was alone in the car when he hit the hydro poles at 5:15 a.m.

The southbound lanes of the Coronation Boulevard were closed for a few hours Saturday morning.
