Two drivers were issued three-day suspensions.

A Friday night MegaRIDE (Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement) across the National Capital Region yielded one impaired driving charge in the operation that featured cooperation from police services across the Ottawa area.

The Ottawa Police Service announced the operation last Friday afternoon, in cooperation with the RCMP, Gatineau Police, OPP, and Sûreté du Québec, as well as Military Police.

There were 22 officers running the MegaRIDE, who checked 1,520 vehicles.

Two warn range three-day suspensions were issued based on 14 driver screening tests using Approved Screening Devices.

Police also issued 20 Provincial Offence Notices (PON) for various traffic offences.
