A 26-year-old man was taken to hospital after a motorcycle crash Thursday afternoon (Aug. 18) in the area of Bovaird Drive West and Van Kirk Drive.

A 26-year-old man has been injured after his motorcycle crashed in Brampton Thursday afternoon (Aug. 18).

Peel Regional Police were alerted to the crash that happened around 12:15 p.m. in the area of Bovaird Drive West and Van Kirk Drive. Police say arriving officers found the motorcyclist lying on the road.

He was conscious and breathing but might have suffered some broken bones in the crash. Peel Paramedics tweeted they’re taking the man to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Northbound Van Kirk Drive was closed at Bovaird Drive West for the investigation and cleanup.
