A motorist faces seven charges and $1,900 in fines after police stopped them on Highway 12 near Orillia.
In a social media post Monday (Sept. 9), OPP shared an image of a trailer carrying bales of hay along with the message about the charges.
Police say an insecure load of 8,700 kilograms was being hauled on a trailer without a braking system, directional or brakes lights or plates. Furthermore, the driver had an improper licence class.
The driver was reportedly escorted off the highway.
