A South Frontenac man has a date in a Kingston courthouse after the Ontario Provincial Police responded to numerous driving complaints about a large truck Sunday afternoon.
At around 5 p.m., OPP started to receive complaints about the northbound truck being driven erratically on Road 38 near Murvale Road.
Officers were able to locate the truck on Alton Road just north of Harrowsmith. Speaking with the driver, they determined he was likely impaired by alcohol.
Corey Fleming, 36, has been charged by police with driving while impaired by alcohol and driving with more than 80 mg of alcohol in his blood. The truck was seized for seven days and his driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days. Fleming was released on a promise to appear in court in Kingston on May 4.
