A motorcyclist was transported to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre with life-threatening injuries after colliding with a train Thursday evening. Provincial police received a call about the incident, which occurred at Snow Valley Road and Wilson Drive, at approximately 7:20 p.m. OPP Sgt. An initial investigation by Huronia West OPP showed the motorcycle failed to stop for a train on Snow Valley Road, west of Wilson Road.
Police say the crash which seriously injured the 23-year-old man took place at 7:20 p.m.
Springwater firefighters and Simcoe County paramedics were also on-scene.
