Hamilton Police believe the woman was jaywalking when she was struck on King Street East near New Mountain Road just after noon Monday.
She was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver — who cooperated with police — was not charged. King Street was initially closed between New Mountain Road and Elm Street, but reopened around 2 p.m.
