Female driver had to be extricated by Brampton firefighters
A Peel Regional Police officer and a driver [were] injured [yesterday] afternoon (March 8) after a collision at a Brampton intersection.
The collision occurred around 1 p.m. at Bovaird and Great Lakes drives.
Both the officer and a female driver have gone to hospital with minor injuries, with the female driver needing to be extricated from her vehicle due to the mangled wreckage.
Bovaird was closed for a few hours.
Police say it’s too early to determine whether charges will be laid.
