Police looking for witnesses after pedestrian struck and killed in King Township

York Regional Police say they’re seeking witnesses after a fatal collision in King Township.

Police say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Thursday afternoon on Highway 11 north of Bathurst Street.

When officers arrived the man was without vital signs and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene.

Investigators are asking any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward.
