On Monday, a police officer with the Nottawasaga OPP responded to a parking complaint on King Street, in Alliston. When the officer arrived, he noticed the parking issue was due to a function at a local church.

Instead of issuing parking tickets, the officer warned the drivers while making a mention of the Alliston Lions Club and OPP Toy Drive, that is currently underway.

The following day, the police officer was pleasantly surprised when the drivers appeared on the detachment doorsteps with bags of toys to donate.

The OPP thank all those who donated and have helped in making everyone’s Christmas a special one. Keep spreading the goodwill.
