Police search for motorcyclist following traffic offence

Quinte West OPP are asking for help from the public to identify a motorcyclist who fled from police last week.

Just before 5 PM on Tuesday, officers attempted to stop a green sport bike on Glen Miller Road for a traffic offence.

The driver turned onto Harrington Road and sped off, not stopping for police.

The rider was wearing a black full face helmet, red plaid jacket, blue jeans and white running shoes.

The sport bike also had a blue-tinted licence plate cover with a temporary permit.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Quinte West OPP.
