A Hamilton snowplow operator lost his license over the weekend after he ran into a vehicle while cleaning out a parking lot, police say.

It happened on Saturday afternoon around 3:25 p.m. That’s when someone called police and told them that they saw a bobcat plow driver slam into a vehicle while clearing out a parking lot.

Officers could smell alcohol on the driver’s breath when they got there and spoke with him, police say.

He failed roadside tests, was arrested and taken to the police station. The driver blew three times over the legal limit, police say.

A 57-year-old Hamilton man was charged with over 80 and had his license suspended for 90 days.
