Traffic was backed up after collision in southbound lanes near Highway 409
The southbound lanes of Highway 427 at Highway 409 have been re-opened following a collision early this morning.
The closure caused major headaches for drivers heading into the city.
The OPP was reporting heavy traffic in the area north of Pearson International Airport, and urged drivers to take alternate routes.
There is no word yet on any injuries or charges.
