Niagara Regional police vehicleOne motorist was arrested for impaired driving and another was charged with stunting after police in Fort Erie conducted a four-day traffic enforcement blitz in Fort Erie.

As a result of the enforcement, which ended Saturday, two criminal charges were laid and 17 provincial offence notices were issued for various Highway Traffic Act offences.

Niagara Regional police are reminding drivers to always wear a seatbelt. Properly wearing a seatbelt will ensure not only your safety, but the safety of others riding within your vehicle.
