A 32-year-old Bradford man was arrested for drug trafficking following a traffic stop Tuesday night.
A South Simcoe police sergeant stopped a car just after 11 p.m. on the 8th Line for a traffic offence. When he approached the car, police say the officer detected the smell of marijuana and when asked, the driver handed him a plastic bag containing 55 grams of the drug.
A search of the car produced a large quantity of cash in small bills which police say was hidden on the vehicle’s console.
The driver goes to court in August.
