A snowmobile being towed up Parkhill Road by a truck has resulted in impaired driving charges for a Peterborough man.

On Sunday (Dec. 11) at around 5:30 p.m., Peterborough Police responded to reports that a truck was towing a snowmobile up Parkhill Road near Chandler Crescent.

Police saw the snowmobile, that was attached to the truck with ropes, was impeding traffic.

While speaking with the male driver of the truck, officers noted an odour of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver’s breath.
