A witness chased down an alleged drunk driver who police say slammed into several parked cars on the weekend then tried to run away.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Campbell Avenue.
Windsor police said a driver slammed into multiple parked cars then bailed out of his vehicle and ran away.
The owner of one of the damaged vehicles witnessed what happened. He chased down the fleeing man, wrestled him to the ground and held him until police arrived.
A 25-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges. His name has not been released.
