City of Guelph workers tended to the flowerbeds of the traffic island on Macdonell Street on Tuesday morning.
The municipality created the temporary pedestrian island in June.
It’s intended to permit visitors and resident to take advantage of the signature view of the Basilica of Our Lady and Catholic Hill as they walk through the downtown.
The municipality is attracting feedback about the island via an online survey tool.
The island is to be part of Macdonell Street until about the end of September.
