A Rainy River woman is facing an impaired driving charge after failing to remain on the scene of an collision in Fort Frances.
A Rainy River woman is facing numerous driving related charges after a reported hit and run on Saturday.
According to an Ontario Provincial Police media release, officers responded to a report of a hit and run in the east end of Fort Frances on Saturday at noon.
The suspected vehicle was located a short time later on the 200 block of Church Street and the driver, a 39-year-old woman from Rainy River, was arrested. The woman was transported to the OPP detachment for a breath test and the vehicle was impounded.
She is facing charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle, refusing to provide a breath sample, failing to comply with probation, as well as being issued two Highway Traffic Act offence notices and a Liquor License Act Provincial offence notice.
The woman is expected to appear in a Fort Frances court on Dec. 11, 2017.
