You can expect your commute to get worse, if you regularly travel between the provinces.

Public Services and Procurement Canada released the details on Tuesday.

Four of the five bridges are undergoing lane reductions and closures starting this spring.

The Portage Bridge will be a single lane northbound between April and June.

The Alexandra Bridge will be an alternating single lane in June.

The Chaudiere Crossing will be completely closed between June and August, with occasional closures in September during off-peak hours.

The Macdonald-Cartier Bridge will be undergoing lane restrictions in June.

Construction will be intermittent until December 2022 on the Alexandra Bridge and the Chaudiere Crossing.
