Police made two arrests and seized suspected fentanyl and a knife during a traffic stop in Cambridge.

A traffic stop in Cambridge has led to two arrests and the seizure of an estimated $10,000 worth of suspected fentanyl.

Waterloo Regional Police made the traffic stop on Wednesday in the area of Brierdale Road and reportedly seized about 32 grams of fentanyl from the vehicle.

A 29-year-old Cambridge woman was arrested on outstanding warrants for two counts of robbery and a 24-year-old man from Toronto was also arrested.

Both are facing a number of charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl.
