A man from Loyalist Township is facing charges from the OPP after officers were called to investigate a driving complaint on Highway 401.

Around 2:10 PM on Wednesday (May 22) afternoon, police received a report from a concerned motorist of an erratic driver headed east on the highway. An OPP officer found the vehicle and pulled it over near Palace Road in Napanee.

The male driver underwent a field sobriety test and failed it. He was subsequently arrested and taken to the Napanee detachment, where he refused to comply with a drug recognition evaluation officer.

The OPP have now charged Tony Siciliani, 56, with refusing to comply with a breath demand.

Siciliani was released with a promise to appear in court on June 13. His licence was suspended and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
