Fight Traffic Tickets Timmins

If you have received a traffic ticket in Ontario, XPolice can help you reduce the severity of your penalties. They offer consultations and have locations across the province to assist you with various traffic violations, such as running a red light, parking tickets, driving with a suspended licence, and more. You can save money on penalties and insurance premiums by reducing the fines and demerit points issued. A conviction for a traffic offence can impact many aspects of your life, including your finances and daily routine. For example, losing your driver’s licence can affect your work and income. XPolice can help you avoid these consequences and find an effective solution.

Traffic violations will fall into 1 of 3 categories:

Minor Tickets

Minor infractions include violations like speeding, lack of seatbelt, failure to signal, turning violations, and things of this nature. These tickets usually come with a fine and possible demerit points.

Major Tickets

Major tickets are more severe than minor ones, including insurance offences, failure to report an accident, and damage to highway property. These violations will result in more significant fines and automatic demerit points.

Serious and Criminal Tickets

It is important to note that serious and criminal tickets carry significant consequences and harsh penalties upon conviction. Examples of serious offences include careless driving, stunt driving, DUI, and vehicular manslaughter. The penalties for these offences may include hefty fines, additional demerit points, possible license suspension, and even imprisonment. It is crucial to take these tickets seriously and seek legal advice when facing such charges.

Potential Penalties for Traffic Violations

  • Fines up to $50,000
  • Demerit points
  • Higher insurance premiums
  • Suspension or revocation of driver’s licence
  • A mandatory driver improvement course
  • A criminal conviction
  • Jail time

G1 and G2 Drivers

Minimum 30 days suspension and their license may be canceled if convicted of the following offences:

  • Speeding 30 kilometers per hour or more over the speed limit
  • Following too closely
  • Careless driving
  • Fail to remain at the scene of a collision
  • Stunt driving

What Are My Options?
