Halton police have impounded a car after a driver was caught doing 63 km/h above the speed limit on Sunday night.

Police say the driver was pulled over in Oakville, and was clocked at more than twice the legal limit.

A photo of a police radar gun shows a speed of 123 km/h. The speed limit in that area is 60 km/h.

The car will be impounded for seven days. There’s no word yet on charges.
