The Nottawasaga OPP detachment is located on County Road 10, south of Highway 89 in Alliston.
During a traffic safety blitz held May 14-20, 324 drivers were stopped and charged with various violations.
Seven distracted driving tickets, 243 for speeding, 156 for other moving violations, three for not wearing seatbelts and 17 commercial vehicle violations.
Const. Harry Lawrenson of the OPP said the detachment didn’t catch any impaired drivers, showing people were being more responsible when it comes to drinking and driving.
