Man arrested for impaired driving in fiery Hwy. 401 crash: police

A man has been arrested for impaired driving after a car flipped over on Highway 401 and burst into flames late Saturday night.

Toronto police say court officers were passing by at Morningside Avenue and found a two-vehicle collision, including one on fire.

They were able to pull a man out of the burning vehicle, while another had been ejected in the crash.

Four people were taken to hospital with injuries ranging from minor to serious, but non-life-threatening.

The driver was taken into custody for impaired driving, but no charges have been laid yet.

The off-ramp was been closed for repairs.
