Traffic stop leads to charges

During a traffic stop on Cty Rd.2, South Dundas, on June 27 shortly after 8 p.m. a South Dundas male was caught breaching previous release conditions. During the investigation the driver refused to follow the officer’s directions and called 911 during the stop.

Kyle Summers, 36, of South Dundas, was arrested and charged with;

  • Failure to comply with conditions of an undertaking
  • Public mischief

Summers was held in custody for bail and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court.

Traffic stop leads to seizure of drugs

A quantity of drugs (crystal methamphetamine, oxycodone and marijuana) and Canadian currency were seized during a traffic stop on Hwy. 31, North Dundas, on June 27, shortly after 9 p.m.

Michael St. Louis, 37, of North Dundas, was arrested and charged with;

  • Two counts of possession of a controlled substance for purpose of trafficking
  • Eight counts failure to comply with conditions of a recognizance
  • Drive while under suspension under the Highway Traffic Act
  • Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available under the Controlled Cannabis Act

Melissa Bowman, 37, of North Dundas, was arrested and charged with;

  • Two counts of possession of a controlled substance for purpose of trafficking

St. Louis was held in custody for bail and is scheduled to appear Ontario court of justice in Cornwall.

Bowman was released and is scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on August 13.
