Collision reconstruction teams believe a dark coloured 2016 Nissan sedan was travelling eastbound on the South Service Road towards Green Road when it struck a grey Fiat vehicle from behind.
Police responded to the scene along with Hamilton Fire and EMS where a 60-year-old Hamilton man was believed to have been “ejected from the Fiat vehicle causing fatal injuries”, say police in a statement.
A 32-year-old, also from Hamilton, driving the Nissan sustained minor injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has any other information can contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at (905)546-4753 or (905) 546-4755.
