It happened on the side of the northbound lanes of the highway near Williams Parkway.
Images from the scene showed a vehicle with extensive damage lying in the ditch. Reports indicate that the vehicle may have become airborne before landing.
One person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Toronto Paramedic Services said.
Police have not said what caused the vehicle to crash.
