A 23-year-old woman died Jan. 15 as a result of her injuries from a Jan. 12 car crash in Cayuga.

Ontario Provincial Police have identified a 23-year-old woman killed after a crash in Cayuga last week.

Bethany Sider from Haldimand County was taken to hospital after the collision on Jan. 12.

She died from her injuries on Jan. 15.

OPP were called to Highway 3 near McFarlane Road around 7:20 a.m. for a two-car collision.

Sider, who was driving a Nissan, was headed west on Highway 3, and a 36-year-old man from Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation Territory was eastbound in his Lexus.

The cars collided and ended up in the ditch.

Both drivers were taken to hospital.

OPP say the investigation continues.
