A serious collision in Toronto’s Beach neighbourhood early Tuesday morning left two people in hospital.

Around 2 AM, paramedics responded to a call at Queen St. E. and Woodbine Ave., deputy commander Evert Steenge said. One person is in critical condition and another in serious condition after the collision.

Steenge said the person who called in the collision mentioned one car rammed into a parked car, but police have not yet determined what caused the crash and are investigating.

Speed is a possible factor police are considering.

The intersection was closed for the investigation but was reopened around 9:30 AM.
