Impaired driving at Tincap
A woman was charged with impaired driving after a car ended up in a ditch in Tincap on Sunday morning.
Leeds County Ontario Provincial Police arrested the 19-year-old woman after they were called to the collision on County Road 29 at about 4:30 a.m.
After an investigation, Hannah Plotz of Elizabethtown Kitley Township was arrested and impaired-driving charges were processed, said police.
She will appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville in January.
Shop-Vac theft sucks
A Shop-Vac and tools were stolen from a break-and-enter at a Pittston Road residence in Edwardsburgh/Cardinal, Grenville OPP say.
The residence was unoccupied at the time of the break-in, which occurred sometime in the overnight hours of Dec. 15 to early Dec. 16.
The suspect damaged a window of the residence. The OPP Scenes of Crime officer was at the scene and continued to investigate.
