Sarnia police say approximately seven grams of cocaine was seized and several charges were laid Monday after a vehicle was pulled over.

Police said officers tried to pull over the vehicle at about 11 a.m. on Confederation Street, but the driver began to weave between vehicles before turning onto Finch Drive where it was damaged when it struck a curb.

Police said that after the vehicle was stopped near Treewood Crescent, a 29-year-old woman from Corunna was arrested and charged with fleeing police, dangerous driving and driving while suspended.

A 28-year-old Sarnia man in the vehicle was also arrested and charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and breaching a court order.
